Liberty's Birthday! She's a teenager!
We went to a go kart racetrack in Edison, since she loves MarioKart, we thought we'd try the real deal! Lots of fun, with a trip to nearby HMart as well.

Wintry Trip to Princeton with stratfordgal; walked around a ton and saw the new museum redo, great art

Gormandur; we got to be Vikings again this year...this festival really grew and had twice as much to do and see, and it was great to see friends and hang out.

Went on a local historical train history tour of High Bridge, and also looked around a historical house with Liberty (Solitude House, Lake Solitude Dam)

Soccer season ended halfwayish through November

Thanksgiving
Holidays are a real bummer for the covid-cautious, NGL. Made a small family meal. saw my family and did firepit outside on Thanksgiving evening. It's been a rough month bc kingfox got diagnosed with prostate cancer (he's been having issues since last July), and had an MRI and biopsy procedure. I'd say I've been frantic, but when you've been steadily worried for four or five months, it becomes a steady drone of stress instead. we'll update people with info when we know more; waiting on test results.

All set for Christmas season.

Me

This month, I drove my massive car too close to the side of the road and skimmed some Belgian block with my tire, carving the sidewall like a piece of coldcuts. Expensive lil' mistake right @ holiday-spending-time.

also, remember when we removed all the asbestos and wrapping from our basement over the summer? yeah, one of the steam pipes started melting our radon system, so there was some plumbing visits and fixes that had to happen this month also. melting PVC = no bueno.

Other

Mamdani won NYC Mayoralship; Miki Sherill won NJ Governor. Politics has been crazy; a major WSJ story just showed Trump's total oligarchal carving-up of Ukraine; the longest government shutdown in US history ended this month, and there was more Epstein-files stuff. ICE raids continue, along with democratic abuses.
