It was a busy May, with two trips happening

After unpacking from DC, we had a few days at home before packing up for a 'glamping' (bc it's not really minimal like camping) trip out to western PA for SCA Aethelmarc's War Practice (PennLite). Kingfox was in Seattle, but managed to meet us after a day or two and join in. Got to hang with old friends and new and have some fun

going to a 'Princess Bride' themed party, and then to a glow-in-the-dark ballista launch on the battlefield, which we marched to in our glowy war helmets

...you KNOW it's been a windy event, when you pass the graveyard of EZ-UPs on the way out. It was seriously so windy that our orange globular tents almost went rolling across the nearby field. We had to create a windbreak with our cars and park them between the wind and the tents for the last day and a half.
