Psalm 40: 7-8
Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me; I delight to do thy will O my God: yea thy law is within my heart.
I could have left the nostalgic remembrances there, but I have some reunion pics, (some of which are pretty funny), and some rambling reflections, so here you go.
Our team managed to have about 2 (and 1/4) reunions. Our first reunion was hosted by Kim in Chicago, and I can't believe I can't find my photos from this one. Here's what I remember: it was Easter. We went into a Starbucks, and Brice put wooden stirrers in his mouth and acted like a walrus. The river was still dyed green from St. Patrick's Day. We got to stick our feet in a Great Lake. I had lost my return airplane ticket home, and didn't realize it until two hours before my flight, and had to buy a return ticket, which stunk as a poor college student! (live and learn! I'm pretty sure it was because I had the ticket jammed into a loose pocket in my backpack, which got tossed into the back of a pickup truck upon arrival, and probably flew away down the highway somewhere). That's about all I remember from Chicago, sorry! We sang, we prayed, we laughed, it went too fast.
Cape Fear, South Carolina
We had a second reunion, hosted by Brice down in Cape Fear, South Carolina. Not everyone made it, but we still had a good showing, and a lot of fun. I drove down in my car from NJ; I think Jeremy rode shotgun, and it took about 12 hours+ of straight driving. We beached, we explored a local fort, we made a bonfire, we laughed a lot. And we were still wonderfully immature..I remember playing lightsabers with flashlights on the beach.
