some recent cooking notes:
This week:
made an improvised fish curry, and it came out awesomely sweet and hot. I wish I had written things down! with brown grainy rice. Fresh pumpkin and butternut pie, with kingfox helping to make the brandied whipped cream for the top. Later, BBQ shredded beef (roast), cooked for several hours on the stove (crock pot is unfortunately in storage), and beet tops.
