the medical uses of YouTube
Feb. 11th, 2010 02:50 pmah, the spirit of American ingenuity...when it comes to home-doctoring.
so, i have a ganglion cyst on the inside base of my right ringfinger...went to an orthopedist over the summer to have it looked at, and the ****** missed it when he used a syringe over the summer, and it hurt like a ************. and it cost me like $200 (beyond insurance!) so i didn't go back, and I still have it. the internet is a marvellous place, and I've since since cures on Youtube ranging from smacking cysts with a Bible (lots of these vids) to home-lancing (some really, really, really disgusting, unexpectedly spurty ones here), to what I think I might try: acupuncture.
not so bad: (I have a MAJOR, crying needle fear)
