they shoot horses don't they?
Dec. 1st, 2006 08:15 amso it's been a while since I read the Chronicles of Narnia series, long and long. But in "Prince Caspian," isn't there a scene near the end where Aslan passes by a village schoolroom, and there is a frazzled schoolteacher being tormented by beastly children, who then gets to run barefoot outside, free with the dryads, as her pupils are transformed into swine?
Just asking.
Went on a class trip to NYC today to South Street Seaport to see the Bodies Exhibition. The Exhibition was astonishing (plastinated corpses from Dalian, China, arranged in artistic, and introspective/educative manners), but the children were absolute horrors.
Good thing I didn't have a gun.
