revved up on tea and ready to clean! woooooooooot!

TWO DAYS OFF! turned down offers to go to AC and to Maine, slept 'til glorious 11 c'clock, shaking off the last bits of what i think now was a cold (and not bronchitis or some black-mold lung disease caught from the more unfortunate aspects of my apartment), doing yoga, finally, stitching my monster rugs to my couch (pictured), and cleaning the apartment from top to bottom while blasting music. it's sad that I'm soooo happy to have some time to do these things! I also bought a cute winter hat last night and an overpriced cosmetic at Sephora, but resisted the overwhelming urge to blow $ on some shoes at Aldo. although I did put them on hold. and could go back today. there was also a bag...

There's massive grading of papers on the horizon as well, but let's not talk about that.

YUMMY PEOPLE!!! SIT ON ME! well. a staplegun, beers and background football game, and some few sewing bits, and here it is. true to form, now that it's done, i don't really like it. too red for the room, too much. But if we mod it to give off the suggested Cookie-monster sounds, well then maybe it's a keeper...
